Sustainability and The Norwegian Transparency Act
Bon Dep AS is dedicated to promoting sustainability and complies with the Norwegian Transparency Act; act relating to enterprises transparency, work on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.
Bon Dep AS has an overall focus and consideration on quality and longevity during product development, with a primary objective to minimize waste generated by the fashion industry. Bon Dep has and will always continuously strive to look at all stages and elements in our value chain to map climate risk and target for improvements. All products and product development are continuously subject to method and material research, as well as improvements in collaboration with our suppliers.
Bon Dep AS is also focused on fundamental human rights and the working conditions for all our suppliers and ourselves. We follow UN’s ten principles for responsible business:
Human Rights Â
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; Â
Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Labour Â
Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining; Â
Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and
Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
EnvironmentÂ
Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologiesÂ
Anti-Corruption Â
Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

We confirm that all our suppliers are following these principles. The suppliers has signed a declaration on this matter, together with a self-declaration against social dumping - Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Climate and Diversity. All our suppliers are also committed to enforce these principles and obligations, and secure that they are undertaken by any relevant sub-supplier.
